Job Scope
Responsible for planning, organizing, fleet management and manage controller.
Manage a fleet of trucks and drivers to achieve KPI.
Manage operational issues, such as escalation, investigation and come up with preventive measures/plans.
Establish safety and security procedures.
Increase trucking customer base and revenue.
Coordinate with In-house customer service to meet customer delivery schedule/timing to achieve consistent service level.
Ensure that all drivers abide to safety at all time to achieve zero accident rate.
Coaching assistant traffic controller on daily deployment.
Develop activities to improve quality of logistics services.
Develop schedules, taking into consideration on transportation timeline and availability of resources.
Develop vehicle fleet management plan and contingency plans.
Facilitate cargo consolidation activities for LCL.
Identify risk factors which impact the efficiency of transport operation.
Optimise usage on allocated resources within business activities.
Implement incident / crisis management initiatives.
Plan cargo / material handling security procedures.
Plan on performance and improvement strategies on operations.
Plan delivery and pick-up transportation schedule.
Any other ad-hoc duties required by Management and Reporting Officer.
Job Requirements
5 years related experience in logistics industry with 1 year managerial experience leading a team
GCE O level and above
Strong interpersonal skills, strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Able to work 5.5 days work week
