A highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an In-Room Dining Assistant Manager.
As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our in-room dining service.
You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the in-room dining teams, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
JOB SCOPE
Assist the In-Room Dining Manager in overseeing all aspects of the in-room dining operations.Supervise and train in-room dining staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and service standards.Understanding of health and safety requirements and managing employee behavior in accordance with the regulations.Coordinate and schedule staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.Monitor and maintain inventory levels of food, beverages, and general supplies, placing orders as needed.Conduct shift briefing and training, share the operational aspects, and prepare the team member for the operations.Assisting the Manager / General Manager in setting team members goals and appraisal.Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update the in-room dining menu, ensuring it meets guest preferences and dietary requirements.Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the guest's satisfaction.Maintain a clean and organized in-room dining area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.Monitor and analyze in-room dining performance metrics, such as guest satisfaction scores and order accuracy, and implement improvements as necessary.Assist in creating and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the in-room dining team.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to in-room dining services, incorporating innovative ideas into the operation.Coordinate needs and requirements with Housekeeping, IT, Front Desk, Culinary, Stewarding, Facilities and Procurement.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an integrated resort, restaurant group, private club or luxury hotel chain.Enjoys problem solving and can think outside-the-box in difficult situations.Have a well-groomed, professional appearance.
