Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager for the Paiza Lifestyle Experiences division of Marina Bay Sands.

As a Paiza Lifestyle Experiences Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for creating and managing bespoke events and exceptional experiences for our VVIP clientele.

This role involves meticulous planning, creative conceptualization, and flawless execution to deliver unforgettable moments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury event management, a passion for creating unique experiences, and exceptional organizational skills.

Your responsibilities will include detailed arrangements for events and experiences, including, reserving hotel rooms, booking venues, assisting with planning and execution, preparing event rundowns, reviewing, shortlisting & selecting entertainment/emcees, briefing an internal team on marketing materials or even executing a golf tournament.

A passion for events, strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are essential to contribute to the success of our Paiza Lifestyle Experiences – an appreciation and understanding of golf and sports sponsorship will accelerate your success within the role as well.

Job Responsibilities

Event and Experience Planning

  • Develop detailed plans for events and experiences, including timelines, budgets, and itineraries.
  • Source and secure unique venues that align with the intended nature of the event and customer experience we wish to achieve.
  • Identify and collaborate with high-quality partners, vendors, including caterers, florists, entertainers, and agents.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and partners to ensure premium service and value.
  • Concept and Design

  • Conceptualize and design event themes, decor, and layouts that reflect the client's vision.
  • Stay current with trends in luxury events and experiences to offer innovative and unique ideas.
  • Work with designers and sponsorship partners to create bespoke decor and immersive environments.
  • Logistics and Coordination

  • Manage all logistical aspects, including transportation, accommodation, and security arrangements.
  • Ensure timely delivery and setup of all event and experience components.

    Preparing event orders and event rundowns and briefing all involved parties.
  • Drive schedules and manage timelines to ensure seamless execution.
  • On-Site Management

  • Oversee and drive the setup and execution of events and experiences, ensuring every detail is perfect.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, part-timers, hosts during events.
  • Quickly resolve any issues that arise to ensure smooth and successful execution.
  • Post-Event and Experience Activities

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all payments and invoices are processed promptly.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation for future reference and continuous improvement.
  • Marketing and Promotion

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and briefs for the creation of event assets, to promote events and experiences, attracting high-profile clients.
  • Build presentation decks for internal briefs on events to our sales teams and detailed profiles of the VIP Professional sports teams VIPs will have the opportunity to meet.
  • Utilize social media, content creators, and partner platforms to showcase post-event recaps and build brand reputation.
  • Job Requirements

    Education & Certification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Event Management, Sports Sponsorship, Hospitality, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in planning and executing luxury events.
  • Experience working with high-profile clients and VIPs.
  • Other Prerequisites

  • Knowledge of the latest trends in luxury events and experiential hospitality.
  • Multilingual capabilities are a bonus.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative flair and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines.
