Assistant Manager - Private Clients Job Opening In WorkFromHome – Now Hiring Ocorian

Job Description

The purpose of this job is to manage the day-to-day administration of a varied portfolio of trust structures and maintain a wide and detailed knowledge of trust administration.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Managing trust structures and maintaining knowledge of trust administration, including money laundering, compliance, and relevant legislation.

  • Fulfilling fiduciary duties as a trustee, attending to trustee resolutions, distributions, and compliance reviews.

  • Maintaining client files and common folders.

  • Administering and managing a growing portfolio of trust relationships.

  • Observing anti-money laundering, compliance, and relevant legislation.

  • Assisting with on-boarding new trust structures and due diligence checks.

  • Attending to statutory filings, transactions, and maintaining statutory records.

  • Delivering a responsive, high-quality service to clients.

  • Liaising with external parties, including bankers, lawyers, and accountants.

  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders for relationships serviced by multiple jurisdictions.

  • Ensuring billing and debt collection is carried out effectively.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Law, Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in the trust industry and/or company secretarial practice.

  • A good level of technical knowledge of trust and corporate products, investments, accounting, and tax law.

  • Excellent organisational, client management, and people management skills.

  • Professional manner with excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with colleagues to drive service excellence.
