Summary:
The Assistant Manager will support the department in procurement, contract administration, and quantity surveying services for infrastructure projects, encompassing clinical, educational, and research facilities.
The role ensures efficient project execution and alignment with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Quantity Surveying services for managing infrastructure projects.
- Support Project Management Services in planning, monitoring, and executing infrastructure projects.
- Establish and provide guidance on best practices in cost and contract administration, including procurement processes.
- Develop and maintain cost data for infrastructure projects, coordinating with external entities as required.
- Compile and maintain a registry of consultations, queries, and feedback on procurement policies, standard contract documents, and contract administration processes/templates for periodic review and improvement.
- Undertake ad hoc duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Project Management for infrastructure projects.
- Experience in healthcare facilities and/or government projects is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a relevant construction-related discipline from a recognized university.
- Strong knowledge of Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC).
