Job Description:
Reporting to the Assistant Director, this role manages and organize activities related to the outreach programmes and events of DAI (Design and Artificial Intelligence) office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
University-Wide Campaigns
Lead and coordinate the department's participation in university-wide initiatives such as:
Open House
- Admissions Fair
- Awards Ceremony
Info sessions, webinars, exhibitions, and other outreach activities
Collaborate closely with Admissions and Marketing teams to manage event logistics and enhance programmes visibility to prospective students and partners.
- Gather and analyze outreach data to evaluate impact and recommend strategies for future engagement.
2.
Partnerships and Outreach
- Support the growth and visibility of the programmes by identifying opportunities and cultivating partnerships with industry and external stakeholders.
- Conduct outreach to potential collaborators, sponsors and donors to strengthen programmes offerings, enhance enrolment, and support long-term sustainability.
- Represent DAI undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes in external meetings and events to promote collaborations to external stakeholders.
- Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing and prospective partners through regular engagement activities such as workshops, industry talks, and corporate visits.
3.
Marketing and Communications
- Contribute to the development and implementation of branding and communication strategies for the UG and PG programmes, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across all platforms (e.g., websites, social media).
- Plan, curate, and produce content to publicize milestones and activities across the programmes, including showcases, seminars, workshops, and student events.
- Maintain and regularly update the websites and outreach channels of the UG and PG programmes to ensure timely dissemination of key updates, events, and achievements.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align in outreach and marketing goals.
4.
Database and Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date database of key stakeholders including students, alumni, industry partners, and collaborators, to support outreach and reporting efforts.
5.
Administrative and Event Support
- Provide general administrative support to faculty and students on in areas related to outreach, events and external partnerships.
- Assist in the planning and execution of university-wide and programme-specific events, functions, and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A degree in any discipline.
- Possess relevant working experience, preferably in an education setting.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work and perform duties independently.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills with a passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Resourceful and service-oriented, with the ability to build rapport across all levels.
