NTU has established a tripartite Corporate Lab in partnership with Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Centre in Singapore (HMGICS), an innovation centre of the Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) and A*STAR.
Through the corporate lab, HMGICS, NTU and A*STAR will develop technologies with the objective of enabling little to no unproductive time in a cell-based and flexible manufacturing plant setup to support HMGICS and the overall automotive manufacturing industry to build a future-ready High Mix, Low Volume (HMLV) manufacturing ecosystem.
Key responsibilities include:
1.
Corporate Planning, Projects Management, Meetings and Reporting
Track and monitor Corporate Lab’s KPIs, deliverables and project milestones across different research projects.
Develop templates, processes, timelines for effective KPI tracking.
Prepare and collate annual reports and ad-hoc reports to the relevant parties including Directors, Governing Board, and Grantors.
Coordinate schedules and dates for key meetings including Governing Board and Management Committee meetings.
Support the Director to propose agenda items for meetings, prepare and collate meeting slides, write minutes of meeting and coordinate follow-up actions from meetings.

Project Management
Serve as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and external partners including NTU PIs and research staff, industry partner (Hyundai), A*STAR (co-research performer), and grantors.
Work closely with PIs to manage project budgets, timelines, and resource planning.
Communicate project progress to stakeholders and leadership.
Facilitate meetings, presentations, and project status updates (with the PIs).
Support the Director to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
Facilitate effective communication to ensure all parties are informed of project progress and developments.
3.
Events, Workshops and Visitors
Organize and manage workshops, review meetings and technical talks, seminars and engagements with industry partner.
Facilitate visits from internal and external parties.
4.
Human Resource Operations
Support the Director to manage and allocate manpower resources within the Corp Lab to meet operational needs.
Monitor and track approved and active headcounts.
Work with NTU HR to administer hiring of staff, performance planning and staff appraisal, development, training, on/off-boarding etc.
Manage and administer manpower related schemes and events e.g. internship, student assistants
5.
General operations and office administration
Manage general operations and office administration including website development and maintenance, communication matters (e.g. email distribution groups, newsletters, shared drives), general facilities and pantry management, any other ad-hoc matters.
Candidates should fulfil the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a research, corporate lab, government agency.
Experience in project management, event management, website management.
Proficient in MS Office (MSWord, MSExcel, MSPowerpoint).
Experience in using Sharepoint, SiteInfinity webpage editing skills will be advantageous.
Strong planning, organization and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people from different backgrounds.
Ability to work both independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
