Singapore Polytechnic's Professional and Adult Continuing Education (PACE) Academy is a leading continuing education and training (CET) academy that advocates the pursuit of lifelong learning and skills mastery.

We offer a wide range of training programmes for adult learners to enhance their employability and partner the industry closely in workforce development.

PACE also help companies build and develop their workplace learning capabilities, solutions and systems through training and consultancy projects.

Reporting to the Manager of the Course Quality Division, the appointee will lead and coordinate curriculum quality and innovation for our CET courses.

The role involves ensuring the quality, relevance, and impact of our CET offerings, including full qualification programmes, short courses, modular courses, placement programmes, and e-learning.

The role requires solid functional expertise, effective collaboration and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain high quality standards throughout the course lifecycle.

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement CET course quality assurance processes (e.g., course initiation, approval, review, and audit)
  • Manage the end-to-end quality assurance framework, ensuring alignment with internal benchmarks and funding agency requirements
  • Provide expert guidance on course initiation, approval, quality assurance, and review processes
  • Interpret and analyse feedback from course quality survey, e.g. SSG Training Quality and Outcomes Measurement (TRAQOM), internal STEP survey and other data sources to identify strengths and areas of improvement to enhance CET quality and offering
  • Initiate approval process and administer Continuing Development Professional (CPD) points with accreditation/ professional bodies for CET courses
  • Enhance CET competitiveness through curriculum development and innovation initiatives
  • Coordinate and contribute to process improvement projects to enhance productivity and streamline processes within CQ team
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder communications and problem solving for CET course quality and assurance matters
  • Develop and deliver clear and professional communication plan materials (e.g., emails, reports, guidelines) for internal and external stakeholders, including training partners and regulatory agencies.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of curriculum and course quality processes, especially in CET or higher education settings.
  • Familiarity with interdependencies across different functional teams (e.g. operations, finance, curriculum).
  • Resourceful and analytical, with the ability to propose practical solutions to operational challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally and tactfully with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and clarity.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities under pressure and meeting critical deadlines.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant experience in education administration, curriculum development, or course quality assurance roles, preferably within an Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) or CET setting.

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance.
