As an Assistant M&E Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Oversee and ensure that all assigned or routine jobs, maintenance, repair, and replacement works carried out by the M&E team are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Assist in overseeing M&E upgrading projects, providing practical on-site engineering solutions where required.
- Conduct daily health checks of critical and non-critical facilities, record findings, and prepare initial incident reports with escalation where needed.
- Perform checks on installations, troubleshooting, and preventive and corrective maintenance of air-conditioning & mechanical ventilation systems, electrical systems (power & lighting), fire protection systems, building management systems, and plumbing & sanitary systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of M&E facilities to ensure they are in good working condition, and where necessary, initiate or recommend rectification works to Management.
- Inspect, supervise, and monitor vendors and M&E technicians to ensure that all works are performed satisfactorily, in line with the work scope, and compliant with EHS requirements.
- Prepare simple M&E design sketches and interpret drawings or plans submitted by tenants for renovation and reinstatement works.
- Liaise with contractors on rectification and maintenance works, certify job completion, and regularly evaluate vendor performance with recommendations for service improvements.
- Ensure that all contracted works meet specifications and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders for procurement, and accurately submit maintenance and incident reports.
- Organize and attend regular meetings with key service providers, vendors, and contractors; prepare or review minutes and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Maintain proper records and documentation of correspondence, contracts, and materials related to the Building.
- Manage and control the use of common amenities and facilities, and attend to emergencies promptly.
- Build and maintain good relationships with tenants, address feedback, and manage their requests for M&E services.
- Review and manage all tenant fit-out, renovation, or reinstatement works, including drawings and plans, ensuring compliance with building rules and regulations.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess a Degree in Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
