An Assistant Project Engineer supports project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of engineering projects by assisting with documentation, scheduling, and site coordination to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements .
Key responsibilities include creating and updating technical drawings, monitoring progress, coordinating with contractors and suppliers, conducting site inspections, and resolving project-related issues to ensure timely and efficient completion.

- Project Planning & Support :Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering projects from design to handover.
- Documentation :Prepare, update, and manage project documentation, including reports, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Site Coordination :Support site supervisors and engineers by overseeing daily on-site operations, ensuring efficient deployment of resources, and coordinating with main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Quality & Safety :Conduct site inspections and ensure that all project activities comply with established safety, quality, and engineering standards.
- Issue Resolution :Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to resolve technical and contractual issues that arise during the project.
- Monitoring & Reporting :Monitor project schedules and progress, providing regular updates to management on on-site issues and project delays.
- Technical Assistance :Provide technical and administrative support to the project team and perform engineering tasks as needed, such as troubleshooting systems.
