About the Role 
Project Manager with advanced geotechnical design capabilities to lead construction projects including shipyard facilities, marine industrial buildings, and complex foundation projects in Singapore.
This is a comprehensive role combining geotechnical design expertise with hands-on construction management for challenging industrial projects.
You will manage complex industrial building projects from design development through construction completion, handling both main contractor responsibilities and subcontractor coordination for specialized geotechnical and marine-adjacent construction.
Geotechnical Design & Engineering 
Foundation Design: Develop pile foundation systems, mat foundations, and specialized heavy-load foundations for industrial cranes and machinery 
Ground Improvement Design: Design soil stabilization systems including deep soil mixing, jet grouting, and preloading for marine clay conditions 
ERSS Systems: Design earth retaining and stabilizing systems for deep excavations in challenging marine soils 
Settlement Analysis: Perform consolidation and settlement calculations for Singapore's Kallang Formation and marine clays 
Dewatering Design: Develop comprehensive dewatering systems for below-grade construction in high water table conditions 
Construction Management 
Project Leadership: Lead delivery of complete industrial building projects including foundations, basements, and superstructure 
Subcontractor Management: Coordinate specialized trades including piling contractors, ground improvement specialists, and marine construction teams 
Quality Assurance: Oversee construction quality, testing protocols, and compliance with Singapore building codes (SS CP4, BCA requirements)
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate geotechnical risks throughout construction phases 
Technical Coordination 
PE Collaboration: Work closely with Professional Engineers while contributing independent technical expertise 
Design-Build Integration: Optimize designs for constructability and cost-effectiveness 
Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising structural integrity 
Construction Sequencing: Develop efficient construction sequences for complex industrial projects 
Required Qualifications 
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering 
Professional Engineer (PE) License has added advantages.
Minimum 8 years experience in construction projects 
Proven expertise in ERSS, piling, and ground improvement works 
Strong background in geotechnical design and analysis 
Understanding of waterfront geotechnical challenges and marine soil conditions 
Design-build projects - experience managing both design and construction phases
