Assistant Project Manager Job Scope
Project Planning & Coordination Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely completion.
Documentation & Reporting Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, contracts, and meeting minutes.
Monitor project progress and generate status updates for management and clients.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Resource Management Assist in managing project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Support procurement activities by coordinating with suppliers and vendors.
Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
Risk Management & Problem-Solving Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to keep the project on track.
Escalate critical issues to the Project Manager when necessary.
Stakeholder Communication Act as a liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Participate in meetings, presentations, and discussions related to project progress.
Address client inquiries and ensure their expectations are met.
Quality & Compliance Ensure all project activities adhere to quality standards and company guidelines.
Conduct site inspections and audits as required.
Support in obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
Team Support & Leadership Assist the Project Manager in leading and motivating the project team.
Provide guidance to junior staff and coordinate team activities.
Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
