Assistant Safety Manager / Assistant Manager - Health, Safety & Environment
1.
Lead the bizSAFE Program, QEHS Certification and support Safety Case Implementation for MHI premises
2.
Maintain ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 requirements, conduct QEHS internal audits and follow up on corrective actions
3.
Participate and follow up on EHS related audits, e.g. Safety Audit on Managing Hazardous Substances, CERT Audit, audit by customers, etc.
4.
Conduct safety inspections
5.
Prepare reports, presentation and meeting minutes for related safety meetings, WSH Committee meeting and other EHS related materials
6.
Lead / conduct accident investigation, identify root cause and follow up on the corrective action
7.
Prepare and conduct EHS related trainings / briefings / toolbox meetings and conduct EHS orientations for new onboarding staff
8.
Prepare and attend customers’ safety promotion activities
9.
Assist operations department to identify and evaluate hazards and review risk assessment, and proactively eliminate any risks
10.
Provide relevant posters / videos / materials relating to safety to operations
11.
Review, update and renew Transport Emergency Response Plan and ERP
13.
Keep abreast and ensure compliance to statutory safety / health / environment regulations
14.
Support the operations team in the inspection of contractors’ work activity and evaluate contractor’s EHS performance
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in EHS or related field
At least 3 years of relevant experience preferably in logistics industry
Certified MOM Safety Officer
FSM Certified preferred
Able to communicate with all levels of staff
