Assistant Sales Manager (FMCG for HORECA)
$5000 to $6000 + AWS + VB + Incentives + $1000 Transport allowance
Responsibilities
1.
Channel Development & Sales Execution
• Responsible for achieving annual in-market sales targets within assigned sub-channels, driving growth through effective execution.
• Maintain and expand distribution coverage, ensuring product availability and market penetration.
• Identify leads, new business opportunities, and market potential to expand customer base and increase product range usage.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate contracts and agreements with measurable execution and activities using marketing funds.
• Manage and review the usage of customers' marketing funds, ensuring positive return on investment.
2.
Customer & Distributor Engagement
• Build strong and lasting customer relationships through excellent customer service and support.
• Work closely with distributors and wholesalers to ensure excellence in customer service, timely delivery, and trade execution.
• Collaborate with distributor sales teams on product knowledge, promotional activities, and channel initiatives.
3.
Trade & Promotional Activities
• Plan, implement, and evaluate promotional activities with food service customers in assigned areas/channels.
• Support the execution of new product launches and in-market activations.
• Monitor trade spends effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
4.
Business Intelligence & Reporting
• Track, monitor, and analyse product, channel, and customer sales trends to maximize sales opportunities.
• Provide market intelligence on customer behaviour, competitor activities, and industry trends, recommending actions to maintain competitiveness.
• Prepare accurate sales and product penetration reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
5.
Stakeholder Engagement & Brand Building
• Participate actively in F&B associations, events, and forums to strengthen business relationships and company presence.
• Build rapport with chefs, operators, and other stakeholders to drive brand awareness and product adoption.
6.
Team Support & Development
• Support ongoing learning and development of team members to enhance capability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure seamless execution of channel activities.
