Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and minor technical support for the sales department of the company.
- Recordkeeping responsibilities may include sales and expense reports, electronic databases and sales proposals for prospective customers.
- Plan meetings and ensure that sales requests are met in time.
- Process orders via email or phone with both customers and vendors.
- Get suitable quotes / pricing and check data accuracy in orders and invoices.
- Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries.
- Liaise with the Logistics to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain and update sales and customer records.
- Develop monthly sales reports where needed.
- Communicate important feedback from customers internally.
- Should be able to manage and distribute information within an office.
This generally includes answering phones, taking memos, and maintaining files.
- Assist in Bookkeeping, mailing and filing duties.
Duties may range from creating spreadsheets to reporting expenses to Manager / General Manager.
As such, may be required to be knowledgeable in office bookkeeping software, such as Microsoft Excel, MYOB and ERP solutions.
- Be of assistance to the admin team in the generation of monthly invoices and other adhoc duties as and when needed.
- Basic knowledge of word processing, desktop publishing, report generation, project management, and other such relevant applications.
Advance level knowledge will be an added advantage.
