What you'll be doing :
- Lead product development: Act as Product Owner to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of competitive educational resources.
- Develop high-quality content: Collaborate with authors to ensure scientific accuracy and alignment with syllabus requirements.
- Edit for clarity and relevance: Content edit and copy edit manuscripts and proofs to ensure logical flow and learner accessibility.
- Manage production: Coordinate all stages of book creation—from manuscript to print and digital formats—working with authors, designers, illustrators, and freelancers.
- Track timelines: Monitor schedules and update production plans to meet key milestones.
- Support visual learning: Prepare artwork briefs, source photos, and secure copyright permissions to enhance content delivery.
- Proofread with precision: Review content at every stage to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage budgets: Ensure visual and artwork expenses stay within allocated budgets.
- Support product pitching: Provide subject matter expertise to help Sales teams communicate product value.
- Contribute flexibly: Take on additional duties as assigned and support continuous improvement
Who we are looking for:
- Strong command of English and a background in Science (Biology or Physics)—GCE A Levels or university degree preferred.
- A resourceful, independent mindset with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work with diverse personalities and manage feedback constructively.
- Awareness of educational trends and learner needs—especially within the Singapore education system.
- Editorial experience is a plus, but fresh graduates with a degree in Science (Biology or Physics) are welcome to apply
