Responsibilities:
- Support daily train station operations and ensure safe, smooth services.
- Provide frontline customer service at the Passenger Service Centre.
- Monitor passenger flow and implement crowd control measures during peak hours.
- Monitor CCTV and respond to alarms (fire, ISCS, PEC, ESP).
- Handle fare gates and ticketing machine first-level issues.
- Carry out first-level recovery of station equipment.
- Assist with passenger detrainment when required.
- Act as standby train driver during emergencies when needed.
- Handle incidents such as fire, flood, and bomb threats, and assist in service recovery.
- Manage access during non-revenue hours.
- Perform station opening and closing duties, ensuring all facilities are in working condition.
Requirements:
- NITEC / Higher NITEC in Engineering or related fields or Diploma / Degree holders in Engineering or related fields (for higher-level roles).
- Able to work on 3 rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Service-oriented, able to multitask in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Experience in public transport or customer service is an advantage.
