Responsibilities:
- People Management & Development: Lead recruitment efforts in collaboration with HR, maintain low employee turnover and absenteeism, ensure comprehensive training and onboarding for new hires, develop individual career paths, and manage performance reviews with ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Team Coordination & Motivation: Organize daily team briefings, plan efficient staff rosters based on sales trends, uphold grooming and behavior standards, handle disciplinary matters in partnership with management, and foster a positive, motivated work environment.
- Sales Leadership: Drive daily store operations to achieve sales targets and profitability, communicate KPIs and hourly sales performance to the team, support product launches and promotions, and actively participate in sales floor activities to meet goals.
- Profit & Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor promotions, analyze sales and KPIs regularly, propose actionable plans to improve store performance, and contribute to cost management efforts.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture loyal customer relationships, focus on new customer recruitment, coordinate CRM operations, address customer feedback promptly, and ensure consistent adherence to service quality standards.
- Merchandising & Stock Control: Maintain store presentation including shelf replenishment and planogram compliance, monitor stock accuracy and minimize shrinkage, manage stock room organization, and coordinate with supply chain teams on inventory issues.
- Cash Handling & Compliance: Train staff on cash handling procedures, enforce shortage prevention policies, ensure proper management of store funds and deposits, communicate key operational updates, ensure audit compliance, and perform any additional duties as required.
Key Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in store operations or sales management, including 3 years in team leadership and development
- Preferred background in retail, FMCG, or hospitality sectors
- Strong analytical abilities with keen attention to detail
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Customer-focused with a genuine passion for the retail industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
