Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the credit control team to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts.
- Review aging reports regularly and initiate appropriate collection actions.
- Develop and implement credit control policies, procedures, and strategies to ensure department's effectiveness.

- Liaise with internal stakeholders (sales, finance, credit risk) to resolve billing or payment disputes.
- Work closely with legal counsel on debt recovery when necessary.
- Prepare monthly management reports on collection performance.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers while ensuring compliance with company credit terms.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
- Motivate, train and coach the junior executive.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in credit control, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Strong understanding of credit risk management and collection techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Secured Loans handling will be advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Analytical and detail-oriented.
- Good leadership with strong problem-solving skills.
