About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant / Department Manager to lead daily operations, manage staff performance, oversee budgets, and drive business growth through new opportunities.
This role involves strategic planning, process improvement, and ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance, while fostering staff development and customer satisfaction.
You will also serve as a point of escalation for complex operational issues and champion continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage maintenance services projects, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
Supervise the attainment of KPIs related to orders, revenues, and service performance.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the maintenance services sector.
Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements (SLAs).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in operations and service delivery.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Manage staff well-being, performance, and training programs to enhance departmental capability.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a System Architect, IT Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer, or IT System Integration Engineer, plus at least 2 years of leadership experience as a Head of Department or equivalent.
Proficient in network cybersecurity, switching, routing, firewall management, and IT Service Management (ITSM).
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.
Singaporean only.
Candidates with more experience may be considered for a Senior Manager role.
