Job Summary:
The Assistant / Manager, Finance oversees full spectrum of finance functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank transactions, cash flows management and treasury management.
He/she is responsible to monitor the Company financial performance and consolidate the book monthly.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare full set of account and consolidation of accounts on monthly basis
- Oversee full spectrum of account receivable, account payable and treasury functions
- Lead finance team in compliance to accounting standards, GST regulations and Group internal control procedures, other relevant rules and regulations
- Review cashflow forecast and manage operating cashflows
- Perform detailed analysis on financial reports to support Management in decision making
- Liaise with external auditor, tax agents, bankers etc
- Support Management on analysis of business risk, departmental internal control assessment or any other related activities as assigned.
Look into strengthening current internal control and process improvement - Assist in ERP implementation and enhancement, including improve workflows and processes based on best practices
- Any other ad-hoc duties
Job Specifications/Requirements:
a) Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Business Studies/Accountancy and/or holder of professional accountancy qualifications
- Proficient in MS office applications especially MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint
b) Experience
- Minimum 5 years relevant accounts and finance related experiences.
- Higher position shall be considered for experienced candidate.
c) Skills & Knowledge
- Good exposure and knowledge in finance, treasury, credit and banking functions.
- Ability to prepare and analyse forecast, budget and financial reports.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, taxes, best practices and other relevant rules and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office especially Microsoft Excel and ERP system
- Good verbal communication skills, analytical skills, attention to detail
