Job Description
Assoc Technician, Operations (WDA)
As a technician you will join one of the teams who manufacture our medicines in a clean room environment, filling and inspecting sterile vials.
You will be part of the newly created Inspection & Support Team responsible for vial inspection and routine EM sampling.
The team works normal office hours (8am‑5pm, Mon‑Fri) but may support the shift team on overtime.
Expectations
- Achieve competency in all core activities and optional modules.
- Core activities: Parts Prep/Autoclave, Formulation, Filling.
- Proficiency in MES, SAP, GLIMS.
- Cleaning & Sanitization, Material Management, Waste Management.
Routine Operation
- Complete batch documentation and raise exceptions.
- Perform in‑process sampling, visual inspection, labeling and packaging.
- Perform routine QC sampling and in‑process testing (bioburden, water).
- Maintain cleanroom and equipment cleanliness.
Other Support Activities
- Setup and operate pharmaceutical production equipment.
- Dispense, formulate and fill active biological product batches.
- Microbial sampling and swabbing of room and equipment.
- Perform filter integrity testing and prepare equipment for sterilisation cycles.
What You Must Have
- A Diploma or Technical School graduate with background in operations or maintenance.
- Work non‑shift hours and support overtime as needed.
- 2‑8 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in biopharmaceuticals.
- Good understanding of safety procedures/practices.
- English proficiency for reading, writing and communicating.
- Collaborative team player and initiative taker.
Career Conversion Program (CCP)
- PMETs/Mid‑Careerist with minimum 2 years of experience.
- Singaporeans/PRs only.
