What will you do as a Business Analyst (Master Data Management)?
You will play a key role in delivering technical solution forming key project deliverables and milestones, which will shape the future of GIC applications performing trades, valuation, compliance, risk management, and reporting, while developing yourself professionally in the Financial Industry in the following areas:
Work on / with GIC’s mission critical applications supporting trade cycle and reporting:
Reference Data systems that manage securities, composites and portfolio constructs, as well as market data and analytics, across all public and private asset classes
Investment Book of Records systems that manage transactions, positions and valuations
Risk and performance management and reporting
Work in a transformation project team that practices agile product management principles, and test-driven development
Business analysis skills: You will interact closely with business stakeholders for requirement gathering, validation and prioritization, which helps you relate your technical solution design and deliverable to concrete business benefits
Partnership and collaboration: You will work closely with teammates and vendor partners both within and beyond the project team to deliver an integrated technical solution which works end-to-end
What makes you a successful candidate?
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Data Management or equivalent
Possesses strong analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
Good team player who is keen to learn and able to work independently
Experience in investment data modelling, database design and data migration
Technical skills on ETL (extraction, transformation and loading) using SQL, event-driven messaging platform and programming language e.g. Python, Java are added advantage
