In Group Operations, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Check and ensure that all corporate action events (mandatory / mandatory with choices / voluntary) are processed correctly and promptly.
- Ensure prompt notification to clients on voluntary corporate action events such as rights issue, dividend with options, tender offers, Singapore Reits, etc.
- Ensure that clients’ entitlements are protected.
- Check that clients’ instructions are executed accordingly.
- Assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies or issues related to corporate action events.
- Maintain high standard of service quality by providing timely response to clients’ enquiries.
- Support the team in daily operational tasks as needed.
- Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services operations, preferably with some exposure to corporate actions and knowledge of SWIFT – MT56X series
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good team player, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A strong desire to learn and grow within the corporate actions domain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to read/write macros
