The Associate Director – Design at DB&B will be a meticulous and inspiring leader, responsible for managing and mentoring the design team to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that align with client expectations and the Company's vision.
This role requires a combination of creative expertise, strategic insight, and leadership to oversee daily studio operations, including resource management, scheduling, and team performance.
The Associate Director will also play a key role in project pitching, presenting design concepts to clients, building strong relationships, and supporting business development initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in interior design, preferably in office or corporate environments, with a proven record of leading successful design teams and delivering high-quality projects.
- Recognized qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Relevant leadership or design certifications are advantageous.
- Strong expertise in space planning, conceptual design, presentation, and design strategy, with the ability to translate client requirements into innovative and functional solutions.
- Proven experience in leading and mentoring design teams, managing daily operations, resources, timelines, budgets, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
- Ability to drive design strategy, identify opportunities to leverage design as a strategic business asset, and champion design excellence across the organization.
- Excellent leadership, client engagement, and communication skills, with experience in project pitching and supporting business development efforts.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging workplace innovations, materials, technologies, and best practices.
