Associate Enginer

This role is based in Tuas, Singapore.
Job Duties
Perform mechanical test such as Bend, Tensile, Impact, Compression, and etc
Assist in metallurgical sample preparation such as macro, micro, hardness, and supervising allocated staff and being responsible for the day to day management of the relevant discipline
Interpretation of internal and client requirements and performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
Operating complex mechanical testing equipment,maintaining accurate and systematic records and performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory
Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment and report writing, data interpretation and analysis
Job Requirements
Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or another relevant materials related discipline
Experience of working within a Mechanical testing environment is advantageous
An understanding of a recognised Quality Management Systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial
Self motivated Technician with the ability to multi task, organise and work under the pressure of a busy commercial mechanical test laboratory
A team player attitude, possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills
