Role Overview
The role will provide strategic support for the IT functions.
To ensure that a project is completed on time and that the project’s objectives are met, the successful candidate will deliver business value to clients on Dynamics CRM implementations and monitor and control project execution.
Responsibilities
Develop strategy and produce project plans (scope, risks, quality, cost, change management, communications, procurement, work breakdown structure, and schedule).
Work with project sponsors to develop project charter, goals, and priorities.
Manage projects from inception to successful implementation.
Utilize project management disciplines to estimate, coordinate, and deliver committed project deliverables.
Identify and negotiate schedules, milestones, and resources required to meet project objectives.
Establish project policy, set project standards, and determine needed tools.
Manage change and project acceptance procedures.
Promptly escalation of issues and risks with mitigation plan.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, planning, facilitation, leadership, and time management skills.
Interface with customers, management, and providers; self‐motivated and customer‐service oriented.
Work in high‐pressure situations and address conflicts; build strong relationships.
Motivate team members and influence them to adhere to project deliverables.
Manage multiple projects concurrently and produce project status reports for stakeholders and senior management.
Oversee projects in a 3rd‐party outsource engagement using procurement planning.
Work with offshore delivery centers stakeholders and team members.
Manage budgets, team schedules, identify resources, and assign responsibilities.
Review deliverables prepared by team before they are sent to the customer.
Ensure project artefacts are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Analyze and implement internal IT project management processes to deliver tangible value.
Oversee development and implementation of change management plans.
Assist in the development and management of IT group’s KPI for project management.
Requirements
Proven experience driving the project delivery process and oversight of project management functions.
Working effectively with others from multiple functions and locations.
Knowledge of Project Management processes and the Project Management Lifecycle.
Experience in Business Process Improvement, Quality Management Implementation, and IT Methodologies.
Leading and managing projects in an IT process organization using ITIL or COBIT framework methodologies.
Quality Management.
Experience with 3rd‐party outsourced service providers SLAs and OLAs.
Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
Education
BBA/BS degree in Business, IT or Computer Science.
MBA or MS in Information Systems preferred.
Microsoft Dynamics CRM Certifications strongly preferred.
3+ years’ experience managing medium to large sized, complex business/technology projects.
3+ years of consulting experience.
3+ years of professional experience.
