Position Overview
Become a valued contributor within the Access organization, where the mission is to connect our customers to their products and data, across all Autodesk products and services enabling secure, seamless, and scalable access for 150+ Autodesk applications across desktop, mobile, and web, as well as smart devices.
These essential capabilities provide smooth, compliant, and consistent experiences for all users, customers, and partners associated with Autodesk.
In this role, the focus will be on promoting a 'Platform First' philosophy, fostering the development of a platform that is cohesive, API-accessible, and ensures a uniform user experience.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of software engineers to ensure execution and unlock creativity
Take full ownership of initiative and deliver it end to end while working with various stakeholders
Develop staff by coaching, facilitating career aspirations and providing growth opportunities
Provide insight, feedback, and recommendations to senior management regarding the development, capabilities, and potential of current and future software projects
Provide leadership to achieve high standards of done in areas of quality, security, scalability, user experience
Aid in the design and building of solutions, frameworks, automation, and orchestration for a broad range of applications and infrastructures, including cloud services, and desktop
Build collaborative partnerships with the Software Architects, Technical leads, Product Owners, Product Managers and Experience Designers
Drive Engineering best practices within the team to ensure efficiency, maintainability, and high quality in all software development projects
Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience (MS in Computer Science or a related degree is preferred)
5+ years of relevant industry experience with relevant experience in supervision of any technical execution among team
Relevant experience building cross-platform Desktop/GUI applications on Windows/Linux/Mac
Strong experience with desktop technologies and tools such as C++, Python, Go, Qt, Jenkins, GitHub
Proven experience with Scrum and agile development processes and methodologies
Proactive, quick decision maker with excellent communication and written skills
Expert experience with Scrum and Agile development processes and methodologies
Experience working with remote teams and other cross-functional stakeholders
