Associate- Physical Trading Operator- Petrochemicals
Our client is a growing Brokerage firm and is currently seeking an Associate- Physical Trading Operator- Petrochemicals
Some of the key responsibilities include.
Handle and coordinate trade documents (bills of lading, invoices, certificates of origin, and customs paperwork) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely processing for payments and deliveries
Coordinate vessel operations and logistics to ensure smooth loading, discharge, and compliance with regulations and safety standards.
Support finance by handling invoicing, payments, reconciliations, and required documents for settlements.
Serve as the main link between traders, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth trade execution and clear updates.
Ensure trades follow regulations and policies while keeping accurate records for audits.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in physical operations within petrochemical trading.
Proven expertise in international shipping and trade documentation procedures.
Good understanding of vessel operations, chartering terms, and port procedures.
Detail-oriented and collaborative, able to manage multiple trades under tight timelines, with experience in demurrage, laytime, and freight cost tracking shall be a plus.
