Associate Sales Director, ASEAN – S&P Dow Jones Indices

Role Overview
As an Associate Sales Director, you will drive licensing, intellectual property, and relationship management for S&P Dow Jones Indices’ index data in the APAC region.
Responsibilities
Ambassador for S&P DJI, cultivating a client‐centric culture.
Meet annual sales targets and generate incremental revenue from the assigned territory.
Expand the commercial footprint with existing relationships and prospect new licensees.
Consultatively sell index data and solutions, collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Monitor client usage, conduct forensic reviews to ensure compliance.
Negotiate complex contracts, develop usage rights and commercial terms.
Generate new contract documents, process sales orders, and coordinate invoicing.
Service existing products and client queries, maintaining pipelines in the internal CRM.
Key Skills & Experience
5–10 years of revenue generation in investment product or market data sales.
Industry experience in equity/index structuring, institutional sales, or wholesale of investment products.
Established relationships with asset managers, investment banks, and hedge funds.
Experience in long‐cycle, concept sales and complex contract negotiation.
Fluency in key investment trends: indexing, volatility, factor investing, ESG, multi‐asset solutions.
Effective client communication skills; personable attitude in a matrix structure.
Bachelor’s degree required; CFA or certification holders favored.
