Associate / Support Engineer
Location: Singapore
Salary: Up to $4,000 (commensurate with qualifications and experience)
We are looking for an Associate / Support Engineer to join our team.
This role is ideal for candidates with a strong technical foundation, whether recent graduates or those seeking to transition into a technical support or network security role.
Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, chat, or ticketing system.
Troubleshoot and resolve software, hardware, network, or application-related problems efficiently.
Document support processes, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs to enhance team knowledge.
Collaborate with internal teams, escalating complex issues and providing timely updates.
Assist in testing new product features and provide feedback for product improvements.
Support onboarding of new users, providing guidance and training on product usage.
Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) for response times and issue resolution.
Continuously update technical skills and knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
Requirements
Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, software applications, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Familiarity with TCP/IP, OSI layers, network security, DNS, routing, switching, and common protocols.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to perform root cause analysis.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical concepts to non-technical users.
Customer-focused mindset with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
Team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.
Adaptable and quick to learn new technologies, tools, and processes.
Strong documentation skills for clear and concise technical guides.
