The Job
Contribute to the development & management of JP’s Sustainability Strategy, which includes leading the development and execution of decarbonisation action plan with internal stakeholders
Coordinate JP's environmental sustainability reporting, which includes supporting annual verification of JP’s Scope 1 & Scope 2 carbon emissions by appointed annual auditor for the reporting year
Collaborate internal stakeholders and co-manage all aspects of solar energy projects from inception to completion
Conduct feasibility studies under supervision to assess viability of implementing potential solutions (i.e. solar canopy) to help JP meet its sustainability goals
Contribute to other sustainability related efforts (e.g. market research on sustainability best practices, sale of Renewable Energy Certificates)
Conduct research analysis on trends, industry/sustainability developments and value chains through open-source research, engagement with stakeholders and consultations with experts
The Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering or related field.
Preferably 1-2 years' experience in sustainability, ESG, corporate responsibility, and/or environmental management in Singapore.
Candidates with no experience are welcome to apply.
Familiarity with local frameworks and guidelines, including but not limited to, SG Green Plan, BCA Green Mark, NEA waste/recycling initiatives, and international standards (GRI, TCFD, SASB, UN SDGs, ISO 14001 etc).
Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
Meticulous, detail-oriented and comfortable with data.
Passionate about Singapore’s maritime sustainability journey.
