We are partnering with a global freight forwarding company in search for an Assistant Finance Manager based in Singapore.
This role will collaboratively work with APAC entities on various finance functions such as budgeting, cash forecasting, credit management and others.
The Challenges
- Assist with the preparation of annual working capital and periodic cash forecasts
- Support the regional finance team in ad-hoc projects as well as continuous improvement initiatives
- Support financial review processes including balance sheet review, planning, forecasting and ad-hoc analysis
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and develop periodic forecasts.
Analyze variances between actual and budgeted results and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Work with data source providers to ensure data accuracy, complete and updated
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
What It Takes
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a MNC environment within the freight forwarding industry
- Experience with month end General Ledger closing and reporting
- Highly analytical and detail oriented
Experience in accounting / credit control software implementation will be advantageous
