Job Details
Procurement Management:
- Identify and engage with new suppliers to ensure the company has access to competitive pricing, high-quality products, and reliable delivery schedules.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers and vendors to ensure favorable deals and long-term relationships.
- Oversee the purchasing process, ensuring that orders are placed timely and goods are delivered as per contractual agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure supply continuity and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
- Monitor and control procurement expenses to meet the company's budget and savings targets.
- Ensure all procurement processes comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Supply Chain Management:
- Oversee the transportation and logistics functions, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels to ensure adequate stock while minimizing storage and holding costs.
Work closely with the procurement team to balance supply and demand.
- Supervise warehouse operations, including storage, handling, and dispatch of goods, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently.
- Ensure timely processing and delivery of customer orders, and work with internal teams to address any challenges in order fulfillment.
- Continuously analyze and optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs, improve lead times, and increase overall efficiency.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain and procurement performance and prepare regular reports for senior management.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales, production, and finance departments to ensure alignment between procurement, inventory levels, and customer demand.
- Collaborate with the forecasting and demand planning teams to anticipate demand and adjust procurement and supply chain activities accordingly.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field.
- Prior experience with CIPS, CSCP is a plus.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related roles, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial position.
- Proficient in using ERP systems, procurement, and supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
