Job Responsibilities
Competent in production planning, scheduling and coordinating with internal and external on project activities.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and recommend solutions to keep projects on track.
Oversee overall project and productions functions at sites.
Manage contractual requirements for all projects including payment terms and variation orders.
Manage the project’s budget and ensure all cost control measures are effectively implemented.
Ensure all variation costs for out-of-scope works are properly capture and claimed.
Liaising with clients on the procurement of items, technical clarifications, drawings and project matters etc
Proficient problem solving and leadership abilities
Hands on expertise in sheet metal, structural platforms, piping and fabrication manufacturing.
Have knowledge of welding, tube and pipe cutting and bending, structural design to build processes, painting, and fabrication techniques.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Marine & Offshore/ Engineering
Relevant certificates such as Welding Inspector (CSWIP 3.1) / WSQ Workplace Safety Health course level 2 / Certificate/Advanced Certificate in Safety Coordinator or Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) / Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety & Health / Shipyard Safety Supervisor Course (SSSC)
Relevant working experience, have knowledge of Shipyards operations and experience in project handling are an advantage
Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to visualize issues and communicate them to others.
Able to work long hours during weekdays and on weekends and public holidays when required.
Able to multi-tasks and able to work in fast paced environments
