Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and drive continuous improvement of QEHS performance across all on-site and off-site operations, including setting KPIs and tracking performance outcomes.
- Review, consolidate, and report outcomes from Monthly Safety Committee meetings, providing actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare and present monthly QEHS management reports, safety statistics, and key risk assessments for internal leadership and tender submissions.
- Analyze incident reports, trends, and injury case studies to recommend and implement systemic safety improvements.
- Ensure all site facilities, operations, and equipment comply with local, statutory, and corporate QEHS requirements through regular system reviews, inspections, and audits.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of employee safety and workplace health programs, ensuring consistent training across all levels.
- Champion QEHS awareness campaigns, including Safety Days, Environmental Week, SGSecure drills, and sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with all QEHS statutory requirements, licenses, and permits, maintaining an updated compliance register.
- Provide strategic input on digitalization, innovation, and technology implementation across QEHS projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead the design and delivery of QEHS and operational performance training programs for management and frontline teams.
- Manage the EHS team, overseeing resource planning, workload allocation, performance reviews, and staff development.
- Engage directly with senior management, clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to represent the company's QEHS priorities and commitments.
Requirements:
• Relevant Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
• Certified Ministry of Manpower Approved Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)
• Good inter-personal, communication skills and professional disposition.
