Overview
The Asst/Deputy Project Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Project Manager or Project Director in leading project teams to successfully deliver LTA rail communication projects in
accordance with contractual obligations and customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Project Director and Project Manager to develop, update, and maintain essential project documentation such as the project plan, quality plan, and risk management plan.
- Assist in managing communications, reporting, and stakeholder expectations, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project life-cycle.
- Work alongside cross-functional team members, including Solution Architects, Technical Leads, System Engineers, and the Implementation Team.
- Coordinate with Product Specialists and Technical Subject Matter Experts as needed to ensure deliverables meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Review and monitor the quality of work produced by team members to ensure compliance with project specifications and customer expectations.
Support pre-sales activities by contributing to technical solutioning, effort and timeline estimation, and project delivery planning for tenders, RFPs, and presentations.
Requirements/Skills:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical) or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of working experience as a Technical Lead or Project/Implementation Lead, with a strong track record in delivering railway communication systems, such as:
Public Address (PA) systems
CCTV systems
Passenger Information Display Systems
Network Infrastructure
PABX
Prior experience in LTA railway projects is highly preferred.
Technical Skills (advantageous):
Experience in understanding and reviewing
Communication System/solution design
BIM modelling / MicroStation 3D CAD
Primavera P6 scheduling
Construction safety requirements
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including project reporting and progress updates.

- Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-driven.
- Able to work independently and manage priorities under tight timelines in complex project environments.
