Responsibilities:
- Conduct statutory audits of financial statements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
- Manage all aspects of audit engagements (including statutory and special audits), from planning and fieldwork to completion.
- Handle audit and accounting assignments independently with minimal supervision.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Prepare audit and tax schedules as assigned.
- Ensure timely completion of audit and accounting assignments, meeting monthly budgets and billing targets.
- Apply bookkeeping skills, including the preparation of accounting entries and bank reconciliations.
- Assist with GST filings and registration processes.
- Perform monthly accounts closing and prepare related management reports as required.
- Manage tax compliance matters for corporate clients.
- Support other assignments and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Possess a recognised degree in Accountancy or a professional qualification from an internationally recognised accounting institute.
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience in audit or accounting are welcome to apply.
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; resourceful, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to meet tight deadlines and committed to delivering quality work.
- Excellent command of English with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in MS Office and computer applications.
- Pleasant and professional disposition.
- Experience in group consolidation of accounts is an added advantage.
