Responsibilities
- To Lead and manage a team of audit professionals in the Singapore office, focusing on Cayman Islands and other offshore audit engagements.
- Able to serve as Audit Director on engagements, ensuring audits are executed in compliance with professional standards.
- Develop and strengthen long-term client relationships while driving new business opportunities in the market through professional networks.
- Oversee a portfolio of offshore audit engagements, with responsibility for client deliverables, audit quality, and overall file management.
- Collaborate with the Cayman Islands office to expand and promote the offshore audit practice.
- Implement and monitor the audit quality control framework in Singapore, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and alignment with firm-wide standards.
- Guide the professional development of audit staff, providing day-to-day supervision, mentoring, and performance management.
- Support global operations with some international travel, given the expanding client base and close collaboration with Cayman and overseas offices.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years' senior management experience in audit or assurance.
- Chartered Accountant of Singapore and active member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
- Well verse in asset management, investment, and securitisation industries, including experience with investment funds and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), particularly Cayman Islands-domiciled entities.
