The Role
As Audit Partner, you will lead statutory audits and special assurance engagements, steward audit quality, and manage risk.
Responsibilities
Lead, develop, and retain a team of audit professionals and manage a portfolio of audit clients across industries.
Oversee execution of external audit engagement, including planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, and review.
Serve as Engagement Partner to review and approve audit documentation and final reports for compliance.
Direct and oversee audit engagements to ensure excellence and precision, managing high-quality audit assurance and adhering to ACRA regulations.
Uphold the System of Quality Management (ISQM 1 & 2) and participate in EQCR/consultation processes as needed.
Liaise with stakeholders and regulators and build strong client relationships, offering professional advice.
Participate in business development through proposals, networking, and referrals to identify new opportunities.
Coach, develop, and retain high-performing teams, upholding regulatory and ethical standards.
Collaborate with partners for firm growth, innovation, and professional representation.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with professional accounting qualifications (ACCA, CPA Australia, ACA).
Qualified Chartered Accountant (Singapore) and ISCA Member, with a current Practising Certificate.
At least 12 years of relevant experience with large or medium-sized public accounting firms, including recent experience in an audit director/partner-level role.
Proven track record in client management, team leadership, and practice development.
Strong technical knowledge of SFRS, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
