The Pfizer Career Program offers a 15-month rotational role for early-career Automation Engineers to develop expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing automation and digital technologies.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
Rotate across key areas of automation and digital manufacturing, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Support system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing reliability and efficiency.
Participate in digital transformation initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Digital) to deliver high-impact projects.
Gain exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements (GMP, data integrity, audit readiness).
Contribute to Pfizer’s culture of safety, quality, and innovation.
About You
The company is looking for:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, Computer Engineering, or related field.
Early-career professionals (≤5 years experience) with strong interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Knowledge of automation systems (PLC, DCS, MES) and programming languages is advantageous.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and contributing to healthcare.
Preferred: Experience in pharmaceutical industry engineering, familiarity with Preventive Maintenance Procedures for process control systems, ability to monitor issues and develop preventative solutions, experience with manufacturing information systems, excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
