Purpose: To design, develop, and implement automation solutions for system integration and machine assembly processes to enhance productivity, minimize human errors, and ensure high-quality outputs.
The role will focus on leveraging AI and robotics to achieve automated assembly and inspection solutions.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robotic systems for automated assembly processes.
- Develop AI-driven solutions for process optimization and defect detection.
- Evaluate current manufacturing processes to identify automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate automation into existing workflows.
- Integrate robotics and AI systems with MES systems for real-time monitoring and control.
- Ensure seamless communication between automation systems and other manufacturing tools.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with automation systems, including robotic arms and AI algorithms.
- Conduct regular maintenance to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Train technicians and operators on the use of automated systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
- Ensure automation solutions comply with industry safety standards and company policies.
- Perform risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement safeguards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Robotics, AI, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automation engineering with a focus on AI and robotics is preferred.
- Proven track record in designing and deploying robotic systems and AI-driven inspection tools.
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, C++, C# or Java.
- Expertise in AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) including machine learning algorithm and robotic platforms (e.g., ABB, KUKA, FANUC).
- Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Modbus, IoT etc.).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Certification in Robotics or AI.
- Safety certifications related to industrial automation (e.g., ISO 13849).
