About the role
WE are seeking an experienced Automation/Marine Electrical Engineer to join our team.
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and processes to enhance the efficiency and productivity of our marine operations.

- Location: West (Nearest MRT: Clementi/Bukit Batok)
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm (Flexible to work on short notice, including night time, weekends and public holidays)
What you'll be doing
Priority for Professional skills, please self-recommend for higher commission payout: ME - Electronic Fuel Injection System Control, Bridge Navigation Equipment ( Radar, electric compass, VDR and GMDSS), Alfa Oil Separator Control System, Fire Alarm Control System, Tanker level control system TT
- Design, specify, and produce electrical systems for vessels and refits (power generation, distribution, switchboards, switchgear, motor control, lighting)
- Develop single line diagrams, wiring diagrams, cable routing, load flow and fault current analysis
- Perform electrical power system studies, short circuit analysis, protection coordination
- Integrate ship systems: propulsion (if electrical / hybrid), battery / energy storage, AC / DC distribution, shore power connection
- Design or review control systems, PLC / automation / SCADA integration with electrical systems
- Prepare technical specifications, equipment tenders, vendor drawings, interface documents
- Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting onboard or in yard
- Provide support during sea trials, tests, handover, and warranty period
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, upgrades, retrofits, component replacement onboard
- Interface with mechanical, piping, HVAC, instrumentation disciplines, classification societies, regulatory bodies
- Ensure compliance with marine electrical standards, safety codes, and classification requirements
- Prepare documentation: test procedures, reports, change requests, as-built drawings
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Min 2 Years working experience in marine / shipboard / offshore electrical design, installation, or maintenance
- Hands-on experience with shipboard electrical systems, switchgear, power distribution, propulsion integration
- Proficient in programming and configuring PLC, SCADA, and other industrial automation systems
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting control systems
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills (Prefferd with Chinese Writing/reading)
- Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
