Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Actively contribute to the development and continuous evolution of the data and AI governance processes and best practices in line with the Bank’s strategies and objectives, along with evolving industry practices
Perform the assessments and validation of AI models leveraging the use of Veritas Assessment Methodology to ensure compliance with FEAT (Fairness, Ethics, Accountability, Transparency) principles
Support the Business/Support Unit’s self-attestation on FEAT compliance for the models they own
Support the development and maintenance of FEAT related guidelines and procedures
Support the inventorisation of AI models within the Bank
Support the operation of the Data and AI Committee that governs Data and AI risks
Support the operationalization activities of Data Governance e.g. cross border data-sharing, Data Governance Embedment through KRCSA etc
Support the improvement of operational governance of the enterprise data lake, through activities such as enhancing the access matrices, designing monitoring mechanisms on the databases, etc.
Promote education and develop training, awareness and adoption program of Data Governance disciplines and objectives across the Group.
Serve as a liaison between business units and technology to ensure data governance requirements are well understood and considered as part of operational prioritization and planning
Be an agent of change and inculcate data governance culture and discipline across the Bank’s business and technical processes
Job Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Computing or related disciplines with at least 5 years of working experience in the banking industry, or consulting industry with strong exposure to Financial Services
Extensive knowledge and understanding of Data Governance discipline, especially on financial industry best practices and across the regulatory landscape
Awareness of MAS FEAT principles, Veritas Assessment Methodology and interest in ethical AI practices.
Ethics, legal, compliance, audit, model validation experience is a plus
Good project management and facilitation skills, with the ability to manage different stakeholders across the Bank and to navigate through conflicts with ease
Demonstrated ability as team player and running initiatives independently
Good written / oral communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
