Role Overview
The AVP, Learning and Development will lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of talent development programs across the Bank.
This role drives a high-performance learning culture, ensuring employees have the skills, competencies, and leadership capabilities to support both individual growth and organisational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Strategy & Programme Design
Lead training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development priorities across all career streams.
Design and implement learning programs covering onboarding, leadership development, talent acceleration, and competency bridging.
Develop and implement DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) initiatives to foster inclusivity at all levels.
Integrate innovative learning methodologies, including e-learning, in-person, and blended learning solutions, to enhance learner engagement.
Programme Delivery & Evaluation
Deliver and facilitate high-impact learning sessions for employees at all levels.
Evaluate external training providers and courses to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
Conduct post-training assessments to measure effectiveness, track ROI, and provide management updates on training investments.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional competency requirements.
Technology & Process Management
Oversee learning platforms and processes to track continuing professional development and ensure data protection compliance.
Recommend and implement process improvements, including automation, to enhance HR and learning operations.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Maintain internal communication channels to share training resources and updates.
Collaborate closely with HR, business leaders, and external partners to ensure alignment of learning initiatives with organisational goals.
Legal & Regulatory Compliance
Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, including the Singapore Compliance Manual and financial security obligations.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge to ensure full role qualification and completion of mandatory training.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience leading Learning & Development functions, preferably in a banking environment.
Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, and evaluating effective learning programs.
Proficient with e-learning platforms and modern learning technologies.
Exceptional presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
