Job Title: Bar Supervisor
Location: In Bad Company, Singapore
Reports To: Co-Owners / Front-of-House Manager
Role Summary:
The Bar Supervisor will oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth workflow, high-quality service, and an outstanding guest experience.
This role involves both hands-on bartending and supervising junior bar staff, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards, and contributing to the growth and creativity of the bar program.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Staff Management & Supervision
Supervise bar team during service to ensure smooth operations.
Train, mentor, and develop bar staff on service standards, drink preparation, and workflow efficiency.
Assist in scheduling staff and manage shift coverage, including part-timers (once fully trained).
Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
2.
Bar Operations & Service Excellence
Oversee daily bar setup, service, and closing procedures.
Ensure cocktails, drinks, and service are consistently delivered at the highest standard.
Handle guest enquiries or complaints professionally and promptly.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar and storage areas.
3.
Inventory & Stock Management
Monitor stock levels of spirits, wines, beers, and mixers; place orders as needed.
Ensure proper storage, rotation, and handling of beverages.
Manage wastage and cost control, adhering to budget targets.
4.
Administrative Duties
Maintain records of inventory, sales, and staff attendance.
Assist in implementing promotions or special events.
Support front-of-house manager with bar-related administrative tasks.
5.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Monitor responsible alcohol service and maintain hygiene standards.
Requirements:
Minimum 2–3 years of bar experience, ideally in a busy F&B environment.
Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, and beer.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve conflicts effectively.
