The BCG X AP Recruiting Manager will own talent acquisition activities for various capabilities within BCG X APAC, primarily for Southeast Asia and Australia & New Zealand.

This full lifecycle recruiting role supports a diverse range of mid- to senior-level positions from inception through completion, with responsibility for managing stakeholder relationships, candidate sourcing, vendor management, talent selection, interview scheduling, offer management, and onboarding in Southeast Asia and Australia & New Zealand and across APAC.

The role works in close partnership with local and regional teams and also supports regional strategy, operational effectiveness, and recruitment best practice across the region.

What You'll Do

As Recruiting Manager in the BCG X APAC Recruiting Team, you will:

  • Own and drive recruiting initiatives to hire the best talent for BCG X; lead the execution of regional talent acquisition strategy.

  • Apply strong analytics to the talent market and understand region-specific cultural nuances to effectively manage local and regional candidates & stakeholders.

  • Manage full lifecycle of vacancies across a diverse range of skills and capabilities within the analytics business.

  • Manage key stakeholder relationships as a trusted partner, understanding business needs, role requirements, and candidate profiles.

  • Lead and mentor a team of recruiters to deliver on hiring requirements, collaborating with regional BCG X and BCG HR teams.

  • Leverage internal talent sources to drive mobility, employee referrals, and alumni engagement in the region.

  • Identify high-quality candidates through proactive sourcing via direct channels, job postings, social media, web sourcing, talent mapping, vendors, networking, and other techniques.

  • Conduct initial assessments, provide competency-based assessments and candidate recommendations.

  • Build talent pipelines to fill current and future roles and improve time to hire.

  • Manage recruitment campaigns for volume hiring and brand-building events.

  • Utilize the applicant tracking system to track, manage, and report on candidate pipelines; enhance stakeholder communication and ensure process management.

  • Articulate the global talent brand and candidate value proposition to the region and promote to appropriate talent markets in each country.

  • Lead regional projects and implement them; review key metrics and performance measures; recommend enhancements as needed.

  • Embed global best practices in the region to drive operational effectiveness through process improvements and ongoing coaching of hiring managers and the regional HR team.

  • Support hiring manager coaching and behavioral-based interview training as required to improve hiring decisions.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree with high academic achievement.

  • Minimum 8 years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience in analytics capabilities (e.g., software engineering, predictive analytics, data engineering, risk analytics, rapid prototyping).

  • Understanding of market talent pools, sourcing channels, hiring trends, cultural norms, and compensation benchmarks.

  • Minimum 2 years of team management experience with ability to coach and guide team members.

  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (Eightfold, iCIMS, etc.).

  • Deep knowledge and proven success of using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms for successful hires.

  • Ability to articulate and understand specific role requirements.

  • Proactive candidate sourcing skills through all available internal and external channels.

  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships through client service and delivery.

  • Proven experience managing multiple searches with strong project management and prioritization skills.

  • Ability to be responsive and effective in a fast-paced, matrix organization.

  • Best-practice process management and driving operational effectiveness.

  • Experience building internal networks with senior leaders and advising senior stakeholders as a subject matter expert.

  • Excellent English.

  • Team development: coach and mentor the team to reach efficient outcomes
