Job Description
- Handle the entire billing process independently, from claim preparation to submission, tracking, and reconciliation.
- Prepare and submit insurance claims accurately and on time via the insurance portal.
- Review and verify all claim forms and supporting documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with insurance guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure all required information is included before claim processing.
- Monitor claim statuses and proactively follow up on pending or disputed claims with clinics, insurers, or relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare and post credit and debit notes in the accounting system as needed.
- Reconcile insurance claims against issued invoices, ensuring all discrepancies are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to resolve billing issues and streamline processes.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation for audits and reporting.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement of billing operations.
