Your impact
Our Water business is hiring a BIM Coordinator to be part of the team working on a water plant project in Tanah Merah, Singapore.
While we appreciate profiles coming from BIM/CAD Modeler backgrounds, the ideal fit is someone who has done coordination work across multiple contractors and organizations in large infrastructure projects.
This is a site-based role to provide technical support to the design teams, deliverables from the Contractor, and manage submissions to the Client related to 3D models and drawings.
This role will work and report to the Project BIM Manager and Construction Manager.
This role differs from a BIM Modeling role.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
Be the point of contact for all BIM-related reporting and inquiries within the designated contract group, Lead any BIM meeting with Contractors to deliver per BIM requirements.
Report the current submission status to the Team, and proactively resolve engineering challenges using BIM tools.
Managing contractor's submission per requirement and chair meetings.
Here's what you'll need To be a successful candidate, you must possess:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with prior experience as a BIM Coordinator.
Experience in managing contractors within one project is essential.
Relevant experience in large multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects using 3D models.
Working experience in process plant and/or wastewater treatment projects will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in BIM software such as Bentley, Autodesk, and similar software.
Knowledge of Bentley AECOsim/Open Buildings/Open Plant software will be an added advantage.
