We are looking for an experienced BIM Manager to lead the digital delivery of multidisciplinary transport infrastructure projects.

You will oversee BIM and CAD standards, develop and manage BIM Execution Plans, and ensure coordination across design and construction teams.

A key part of your role will be championing digital innovation, streamlining processes, and driving the adoption of emerging technologies in line with Arup’s digital transformation vision.
 

The Opportunity

• Manage and deliver BIM and CAD outputs for complex transport projects, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.
• Develop, implement and audit BIM Execution Plans and federated model coordination using tools like Revit, Navisworks, and Solibri.
• Provide expert guidance in resolving multidisciplinary design issues, leading digital coordination meetings and reviews.
• Promote digital innovation across teams, support dashboard reporting and digital maturity assessments, and share knowledge regionally.
• Contribute to team capability-building, staff mentoring, recruitment support, and strategic planning for the BIM/CAD function.

Is this role right for you?

• Recognised qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, BIM, or a related field, with 10+ years’ experience in the built environment
• Expertise in Autodesk tools (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and knowledge of BIM platforms such as Solibri, Revizto, and BIMcollab.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 standards, BIM processes, and local authority data and classification requirements.
• Proven experience managing federated models, clash detection, and digital collaboration in complex infrastructure projects.
• A proactive, strategic mindset with excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring others and driving digital change.
